The picture above serves as a good orientation view, as well as showing the under-redwood misting area. Here is where we keep some of our plants which prefer shade and a moist tropical environment.
In this view, we have stepped closer to the fence line near the driveway. This is the east back yard drip circuit. There used to be more plants here, yet some received insufficient light, and others suffered the effects of excess cold or physical trauma. None seem to have been starved for water, nor drowned in it.
Standing at the viewpoint of the last picture and turning around to look back towards the viewpoint of the top picture on this page, we see the hanging and sitting pots which have taken over this portion of the patio. An existing misting system, originally intended to keep humans cool, has been adopted to mist these moisture- and shade-loving plants.
